Vocabulary Homework...

Perhaps there really is a higher purpose to creating 5 unrelated, unimportant sentences, but I'm not convinced.

ten, hat, hot, sand, hand

I see ten tall and small people.
The cat is in the big hat.
I'm hot.
Can you see the sand?
I have 2 hands.

There is a possibility that these sentences are related in Lydia's head, in which case I really don't understand 6 year olds.
