freezing salad
I came home on Friday to find my fabulous hausfrau had done another super duper job of grocery shopping. Everything on sale and under budget. The pre-chopped salad was even two-for-one. So, thinking like a smart shopper, he purchased two; came home; put one in the freezer.
Live and learn.

We recently froze some un-peeled bananas as an ice-pop experiment and cold cuts (Greg's idea) just to buy in bulk to eat later. Needless to say we also lived and learned!
